Hatha Flow - Virtual

Hatha Flow starts with a short meditation and pranayama (breathwork) to help us arrive on our mat in a state of presence. We’ll then enjoy a gentle warm-up to awaken the body before moving into an energetic flow, exploring the connection between the body, mind, and breath. We’ll add in a pose to challenge our balance (option to use the wall as a prop) and then bring our movements down to the mat in nourishing seated and reclined Asanas (poses).

Beyond the Asana

This monthly two-hour workshop is for those who are looking to go beyond yoga Asana. In each workshop we will practice Kriyas (cleansing techniques), Kapalabati (cleansing breath), Analoma Viloma (a breathing technique), and meditation. We’ll then move into a 75 minute Hatha Flow and enjoy a longer Savasana (relaxation). We’ll end the class with Japa (108 rounds of chanting). This monthly workshop is a view into the yoga I do in my own home practice.
