Prenatal Yoga

Join Amy Sztupovszky for a 4-week series designed specifically to support your prenatal journey. Each session is 75 minutes long.

Together we will explore the yogic tools that can help you through your pregnancy, labour, and delivery.

Benefits of Prenatal Yoga

Self Awareness: All benefits begin with self-awareness. It can be challenging to be pregnant in this day and age, when many parents continue working until very close to their due date. Prenatal Yoga classes offer a forum for a parent-to-be to turn their attention onto themselves and their baby and discover sensations, thoughts, and feelings in a safe and welcoming space.

Physical Relaxation, Strength, and Ease: Every person will have their own unique pregnancy experience but, for most, pregnancy will bring discomfort at some stage. Prenatal yoga offers skills and practices to relieve discomfort, while maintaining strength and deepening our capacity for relaxation and ease, both in stillness and in motion.

Breath Awareness and Oxygenation: More oxygen is needed in pregnancy and, as our body changes with the growth of our baby, breathing deeply and effectively can become more challenging. Yoga offers practices to bring awareness to body and breath. By increasing the depth of inhalation and the fullness of exhalation, we improve the quality of our breath and increase gaseous exchange in the body. When we improve the quality of our breath, we improve the functioning of mind and body, both for the mother and baby.

Body Awareness and Birthing: Giving birth is an experience that is unique to each person. Learning techniques to consciously relax the muscles involved in the birthing process, learning vocal toning, learning options for birth positions, and learning how to use the breath in labour and delivery, can help you feel empowered and improve your birth experience.

Mindfulness and Mental Preparation :

Prenatal Yoga offers practices to support us in deepening our capacity to be present, in preparation for parenthood (and life, in general!). Meditation and mindfulness practices also help us prepare for the birthing experience.

Connection to Self, Baby, and Community: Prenatal Yoga provides a place where we can connect with our own bodies and minds, our babies and others who understand the complexity, challenges, hopes, dreams, and fears that we may encounter as we move through pregnancy and prepare for childbirth and parenthood.

This series is suitable for all skill levels, and each stage of pregnancy, however, please consult with your doctor before beginning any new forms of exercise.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel a workshop or series, you can do so up to 12 hours before the first class to be eligible for a refund. After that 12-hour window, no refunds are offered. No refunds or transfers for missed classes in a series.

Intro to Japa Meditation

Japa Meditation is an accessible meditation technique that threads the use of mantra with the power of your own voice to invoke your intention. Experiencing the power of Japa Meditation can bring your yoga practice to a new level and it can also be a great starting point for the new meditator.

But where do you start? How do you use mala beads in meditation? What are mala beads? What mantra will resonate for you?

Together we will explore the fundamentals of Japa Meditation, practice at least three different mantras, and enjoy some gentle movements in between each Japa practice.

You'll leave with a new understanding of this ancient meditation technique as well as a handout of common Sanskrit chants and their meanings.

If you have your own mala beads, please bring them. If you don't, we have extra at the studio for you to borrow!

Investment: $20 for this 90 minute offering or one class from your pass.

Mental health, fitness, time for self, dream job, best lover… your goals fully realized &) come true!

How do you feel?

Who is there with you?

What do you notice?

Are you giddy? Calm? Relieved?

or are you literally throwing your hands in the air doing a happy dance?!

…while simultaneously lighting up every person that matters most cuz you’re so blissed out that you are freely living your authentic lifestyle in a rainbow suit, without fear of judgment or failure. You’re feeling so grateful & ecstatic that the tone of your voice & sparkle in your eye are contagious to everyone around you.

Introducing Mindset Matters

A 3hr in-person workshop, or shall we call it a WOKEshop ;) here to help you eliminate limitations & ignite your motivational mojo so that you can 💥pow, bang, poof, swoosh💨away anything stopping you from making IT happen just like your favourite 🦹🏽‍♀️superhero ait letting anything stop them from creating a better world. Your authenticity unlocks your true powers & abilities so that you can be a force of good in the world 😉

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Teachings & practices that will help you to:

  • Get to know how your brain/body works when stuck in a habit, pattern or charged emotional state. This will give you peace of mind to help you to move forward with self compassion & without reaction.
  • Have control of your: Mindset, Motivation & Methods.
  • How to motivate yourself.
  • To use the M.O.M (Motivation, Observation & Mechanics - an acronym designed by Jim Kwik) technique to support you to take actions aligned with the best version of yourself.
  • Eliminate limiting beliefs, practice choosing who you want to become & design a lifestyle that feels like you, not somebody else's version of “success!”

+ A Yoga & Breathwork Practice to help you move out the leftovers of the old you & integrate who you are choosing to be now!

At the end of this wokeshop you’ll have awakened your motivational mojo & have the tools to take actions stopping the leftovers of the old you from running the daily show. Plus embrace your superhuman powers - yes you are a superhuman! So put on your cape and take aligned actions that act like circling the planet as superwoman does, speeding up time, to become your future self now!

Listen…

A lot of elements come together to generate motivation, let go of limiting beliefs & make change happen…

…and your WAY too smart/intuitive to believe me if I told you “it was just this one thing that changed everything!”

That said?

I’ve always loved this quote: “practice make progress then permanence” ~ Jim Kwik

And one of my top practices is eliminating limitations like bippity-boppity-boo🪄 tapping into my clients subconscious & help them remember that the miracle that makes this real is you!

The ability to help my clients generate self empowerment, activate their super powers & abilities is what I do.

And I'm not just a good yoga instructor - life coach - speaker to make me money.

I’ve been a trusted facilitator for many just like you over the years.

You might be wondering…what makes this workshop any different from any other Joe Schmoe workshop?

Glad you asked:

  1. I'm not claiming that I am going to be able to fix all your problems, to heal you overnight with my perfect formula. I know that it’s the actions you take, using the tools that feel most aligned for you from the workshop + the effort, perseverance - the devotion you put in. I'm here as a guide to offer you perspective, insight and encourage you to be yourself - not be like me! Authenticity is now scientifically proven to be the highest state we can live in - even higher than love!
  2. Mindset Matters shows you what is possible - not “this is what you have to do if you want to reach x,y,z & be successful.” What does success look & feel like to you? I want you to live that lifestyle & be 100% you!
  3. Mindset Matters connects you to what you value. Not what society values. Knowing what you value is your motivational mojo’s secret sauce ;)

This might surprise you but, part of what makes up Mindset Matters…

Is that you try it on like trying on different outfits. Finding the one that feels good to wear for that moment, for that experience - not because it looked good on someone else - or worked for someone else - not because it worked for me last time or didn’t. It's because it feels like you & you align yourself with that feeling… be like the superstar you are walking your own red carpet of life, OWNING IT!!!

  • You are an adaptable being - you feel, sense, intuit if the actions you are taking feel like the right language, choice, behaviour, habit, practice, routine, ritual for you that day - What you are learning/experiencing in each moment is valuable & a part of your fundamental worth - they ARE creating the next best version of you every day!

(This workshop training began with my own mindset training with a therapist in my 20’s. Now at 42, 98% of my thoughts are supportive, creative thoughts. I know motivation is something ‘I do’ NOT how I'm feeling & I have many tools in my tools box where I can pull out for whichever one aligns best with the support I need in the moment & you can too)

The Mindset Matters Workshop is for you if…

  • You are ready to un-limit yourself & remember your limitless nature
  • You are finding limiting beliefs/limitations/reasons why you are not able to make the changes you desire or create the lifestyle that you want to live
  • You are finding it difficult to motivate yourself
  • You are tired of living life for others, living other people's version of success or what a good life is & you are ready to lead a life that feels like you
  • You want guidance & are ready to take actions for yourself

Investment: $150 plus GST ($157.50)

Qigong

What is Qigong?

You have most likely heard of Tai Chi, and seen groups of people partaking in beautiful, slow, synchronized movements in various parks around the world. Well did you know the art of Qigong actually gave birth to Tai Chi?

Tai Chi (Taijiquan) evolved from Qigong, incorporating its principles of breath, movement, and energy cultivation into a structured martial art. Qigong, which dates back thousands of years, focuses on cultivating life force energy (Qi) through simple yet profound movements, breathing techniques, and moving meditation (stillness in motion).

On a more practical level, each class begins with a conscious entry into practice, a connection to Qi through sensation and breath, as we transition into our form. Qigong believes in passive release, using the body and breath to unwind tension. My teacher says “Stay Floppy.” A qigong class will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and at peace. So bring an open mind, an open heart, and get ready to play and learn something new.

These classes will incorporate a fun, lighthearted atmosphere and will challenge you with staying present in the body and regaining coordination through slow subtle movements. Qigong is considered an embodied movement practice.

Your facilitator for this class is Ravi.

Tai Li Fa – The Big Regulation - 5 Week Embodied Prayer Practice

Connection To the Sacred, An Embodied Prayer Practice

The Tai Li Fa is an embodied prayer practice. What is embodied prayer? I’m glad you asked, embodied prayer means using your body as a vessel for prayer or devotion, sometimes with words, most times without words and with an intention. This is a powerful transformative practice as well as a complete qigong form that gently stretches your whole body from head to toe. The whole form takes roughly 5 minutes to complete so it is a really good tool in the toolbelt for quick emotional regulation practices throughout the day.

5 Week Mini Series (one class per week)

Week 1: Learn Shapes

In week one we will learn the shapes of the Tai Li Fa form. This is like learning the letters of the alphabet before we fill in the shapes with subtlety, nuance, visualization, and meaning. Every class will start with a 10-15 minute warm-up and connection to Qi as we move into our practice of the form. This week we will focus on the physical body and “learning the alphabet.”

Week 2: De Qi

This week we are learning the De Qi flow. This short flow is a foundational exercise to feel Qi sensations as “qualities of aliveness”. Have you ever felt a tangible connection to Qi? This flow gets us out of our thinking brain and into our feeling brain (left brain to right brain). We start by learning to feel Qi sensations in our hands as they are meant to feel, and then we slowly start to feel the aliveness in the rest of the body. The De Qi flow will be our warm-up and we will go into our Tai Li Fa practice, refining our understanding of the shapes of the form.

Week 3: Presenting an Offering/Receiving a Blessing

Communion with something greater than ourselves comes across in many ways. Since ancient times we would give offerings as an affirmation that there is something greater out there that would provide us assistance if we asked wholeheartedly. Reciprocity and exchange are prevalent across all Indigenous cultures all over the world. This week we incorporate making an offering and receiving a blessing in our Tai Li Fa form.

Week 4: Imitating Nature and Progressive Relaxation

In our modern world, many of us feel disconnected from the natural world. We spend way too much time in our houses, in cubicles, and in other artificial or man-made environments, away from nature where we spent 98% of our history. In our practice we call on the natural world through imitation, imitating animals, seasons, and other elements of nature. As we imitate nature we invite the feeling of the natural world us. A healing medicine for modern times.

Week 5: Connection to the Sacred

What does Sacred mean to you? Does it invoke the idea of a certain figure like Jesus, or Buddha, or Mother Mary? Is it a thought? A belief? A Feeling? Perhaps it is something entirely different? This week we look at the meaning of what is sacred to us. We learn to connect to the sacred as a felt sense experience and bring that experience into our embodied practice, merging a simple form into a profound healing practice. This is a gift from my heart to yours. May you connect to your sacred practice and allow it to transform you in ways that are unimaginable.

Breathwork for Intuition Activation - 6 Week Series with Kelsey

Picture this:

The exact moment you realize… You’re not broken. You’re not lost. You’re just one deep breath away from reconnecting to the infinite wisdom within you.

You close your eyes… and suddenly feel it: That drop-in. That "I just KNOW." That quiet, electric certainty pulsing through your body that says—
"This is me. And I trust myself."

You feel lit up from the inside. Calm, powerful, alive. Like you just plugged into the universe. No second-guessing. No fear. Just alignment. Just truth. Your truth.

Welcome to Breathwork for Intuition Activation

A 6-week guided journey to unlock your intuition, deepen your trust in yourself, and remember the power of your breath as a tool for healing, clarity, and psychic connection.

This isn’t just a “relax and breathe” kind of thing.

This is a deep, empowering, soul-activating practice that reconnects you to your body, clears out energetic junk, and opens the gateway to your inner knowing—your intuitive gifts, your innate wisdom, your subtle senses.

And yes—your psychic abilities.

Here’s What We’ll Explore Each Week:

• Week 1 – Foundations of Breathwork & Intention

Learn how your breath shapes your nervous system, your energy, and your reality. Set a soul-aligned intention and begin reconnecting with your body as your sacred guide.

• Week 2 – Diaphragmatic Breathing

Drop into the belly. Soothe anxiety. Find the breath that grounds you into the present moment, where intuition lives.

• Week 3 – Box Breathing

Build mental focus and emotional regulation. Shift out of stress and into presence. A breath pattern for decision-making clarity and deep calm.

• Week 4 – Alternate Nostril Breathing

Balance your energy channels. Harmonize your masculine and feminine sides. Align logic and intuition for powerful clarity.

• Week 5 – Breath of Fire

Ignite your energy, awaken dormant power, and blast through inner blocks. This week is spicy, energizing, and activating on every level.

• Week 6 – Integration + Psychic Activation

Tap into altered brainwave states. Learn how breathwork supports alpha & theta frequencies to unlock intuition, creativity, and subtle gifts. Practice receiving inner guidance through breath, sensation, and stillness.

- You’re going through a life shift and need the kind of grounded, sacred support that doesn’t come in a self-help book or podcast.
- You want to sleep better. Digest better. Create better. Communicate better. And BREATHE in a way that fuels every part of your life.
- You’re ready to rewire your nervous system, feel safe in your body, and unlock the intuitive power that’s been with you all along.

Community Healing Circle

Humans need humans.

Healing circles are a beautiful opportunity to be in a sacred space. Through these circles we get to practice acknowledging our stories, witnessing others’ shares and growth. Healing happens when humans gather in circle: this is ancient human technology.

This work, trauma healing, is for everyone.
Everyone deserves to be heard.

This is community

Healing circles are a gathering with others who are doing personal growth work on the path. We connect in to the land, to each other, and to ourselves. We are respectful, aware, observing and curious during our time together.

Our Time Together

Join us in Sacred Space as we journey together in an evening of ceremony + practices you can add to your toolkit. My circles are based in community, animism, land-based practices, food traditions and ancestral work by restoring the “Old Ways.” These ancient ways are kept alive in space holding, circles, creativity, storytelling and rituals.

Ahimsa: A Workshop on the Art of Non-Harming

“Ahimsa is not just the absence of harm— it is the presence of love."

The Yogic path begins with Ahimsa. A vow to live gently—in thought, in word, in action. Toward others. Toward ourselves.

This workshop is designed for those who may already love the physical practice of yoga but feel called to explore the deeper layers of the tradition. Whether you're brand new to yogic philosophy or simply curious to dive a little deeper, this space is for you.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn the meaning and practical application of Ahimsa in daily life
  • Explore how non-violence can shift your relationships—with others and with yourself
  • Reflect and share in guided journaling and open discussion

What to Expect:

  • Conversation & Discussion to explore how Ahimsa can live in our everyday lives
  • Journaling prompts to illuminate the quiet places within

And if time allows

  • Asana as a moving prayer of compassion and self-inquiry
  • Pranayama to steady the mind and soften inner resistance
  • Meditation to sit with the presence of peace

Bring:

  • A yoga mat (or borrow one from the studio)
  • A journal and something to write with
  • An open heart and mind

This is more than a practice. This is a remembrance that peace is not passive, and love is a choice we make—again and again. Let our time together be a conscious step toward living in alignment with your values, on and off the mat.

Cycle Breakers / Healing Circles

Healing happens when humans gather in circle: this is ancient human technology. A gathering with others who are doing personal growth work. This work, trauma healing, is for everyone. Across cultures, we all come from medicine people at our roots, humans who knew how to live off the land, work in harmony with nature and were deeply connected to their local community. We are ill because we don’t know how to do those very human things that keep us well and connected.

But you have a spark, a spark of desire. This season we celebrate you, cycle breakers. You have a drive to know better, do better, be better. If you are a cycle breaker, you wanted to be the REAL you, you drew boundaries, you spoke truth, you release trapped emotions, you processed generational pain, you healed old wounds, and you consciously choose to respond to life differently than your predecessors.

You both feel fear and are fearless. You have “seen” the work and done it, resisted it, circled back. It's hard! And yet…. you keep going. Because that is the path of the cycle breaker.

Carefully curated healing modalities + offerings include:

  • Smudge - to allow sage plant medicine to help you move what you no longer need to carry
  • Traditional ceremonies - to learn how to craft tools and practices into a potent and meaningful experience
  • Sound healing - drum - to connect to your most primal, powerful self, feel, release, heal
  • Hot Cacao - high in magnesium (and love - chocolate!!!)
  • Journeying - explore inner landscapes through guided spiritual journeys, connecting you with your deeper self and the unseen realms
  • + more….!

Sit with us, and honour both the dark and the light of the journey of cycle breaking. Sit with us for the letting go ceremony, and to celebrate how far you've come.

Asteya - A two-hour workshop on living with integrity

Asteya, one of the five Yamas in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, is commonly translated as “non-stealing.” But beyond the obvious, Asteya invites us to look deeply at the many subtle ways we take—time, attention, energy, credit, or resources that aren’t ours to claim.

This principle asks:

  • Are we living in alignment with our values?
  • Are we taking more than we need—physically, emotionally, or energetically?
  • Are we withholding from ourselves or others out of fear or scarcity?

What You’ll Explore in This Workshop

In this interactive 2-hour experience, we’ll explore how Asteya can transform your inner world and your relationships. Through discussion, reflection, and meditation, you’ll learn how to:

- Recognize the less obvious ways “stealing” shows up in daily life
- Reconnect with a mindset of abundance and trust
- Release habits rooted in fear, comparison, or scarcity
- Practice Asteya through embodied exercises and journaling
- Create space for generosity, self-trust, and authentic living

Whether you're new to yoga philosophy or revisiting the Yamas with fresh eyes, this workshop offers a chance to reflect deeply—and walk away with practical tools for a more conscious life.
