Pain Care Aware Yoga Workshop

Do you live with persistent pain? Have you been told that adding a movement practice to your daily life can help to reduce your pain, but you don't know where to start at it hurts to move?

This Pain Care Aware Yoga workshop is designed for people who live with persistent pain. Together we will explore current pain care science and discover how we can use the ancient practice of yoga to start to move with more ease and less pain. All abilities are welcome.

The first part of this workshop will be discussion and education, the second part will be gentle movement where we will incorporate the principles of Pain Care Aware Yoga. Movement might be seated on the floor, standing, or laying down on the floor but variations will be given for those who would like to stay in a chair.

Investment $40 plus GST ($42) OR 3 passes if you hold a pass.

This class is taught by Amy Sztupovszky. Amy is a certified Pain Care Aware teacher and has certified in Pain Care Aware Advanced Group Applications. Pain Care Aware is a program developed by Swami Lisa Pearson and Neil Pearson PT, to help yoga teachers bring current pain care science into the yoga studio.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel a workshop or series, you can do so up to 12 hours before the first class to be eligible for a refund. After that 12-hour window, no refunds are offered. No refunds or transfers for missed classes in a series.
