Amy knows firsthand the healing power that yoga has on mind, body, and spirit and views yoga as her medicine. She is passionate about sharing her love of this ancient practice to help others find the peace, joy, and self-worth that she has found through dedicated practice and study.
Amy offers supportive space for all. She believes that EVERY body is a yoga body, that if you can breathe, you can do yoga. She meets her students where they are at, inviting them to honour their bodies in every pose.
Amy is an RYT500, Pain Care Aware, Trauma Informed, Yin, Prenatal, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, and Accessible Yoga Teacher.
Amrika is sunshine. Her entire purpose in life is to spread joy and happiness, lifting up all around her. Born and raised in Trinidad, in a strong hindu, yoga community, she truly believes that yoga is a way of life, deep connection to everything and this translates into deeper, traditional yoga practices, blended with affirmation and a deep sense of self love and community.
She is a Yoga Alliance RYT- 500 hour SOYA graduate, Pain Care Aware teacher and Alzheimers Research and Prevention Society Certified, Brain Longevity Specialist. She teaches Hatha yoga in way that makes you feel good in your body in a deeply spiritual way. She creates a safe loving, accepting space for all bodies to express their most beautiful selves, merging mantra, meditation, pranayama and asanas, strengthening the mind body connection.

A HUGE master bedroom on the main floor with a queen-sized bed. Private bathroom with a clawfoot tub.

The open-style loft on the top floor contains two queen beds and a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and single on the top. The shared bathroom is on the main floor.
Because of the reduced privacy of sharing the loft with others, this space will be reserved for women only.

What type of food will be served?
Because we want to make this a community feel, all meals will be prepared together as a group. All food will be vegetarian. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know when you book.
Why do we cook together?
Part of yoga is service, and cooking together is fun! All meals will be prepared family-style with lots of laughs!
What is the refund policy?
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking with full payment due September 1st. If you need to cancel between 15-30 days before the retreat a 50% refund will be offered. No refund will be offered if you cancel within 14 days before the retreat.

How many people can attend?
This will be a small and intimate group with a maximum of 12 people if all queen beds are shared, 7 people if no beds are shared, plus two facilitators who might be sleeping on the couches in the living room!
Is this retreat substance free?
Yes, we ask that you do not bring or consume any alcohol or drugs during our time together.
